Lombard recuits for new fund

The Swiss international bank, Lombard Odier has recruited to expand its staff resources for its newest hedge funds. It did so by recruiting a led by Marc Bataillon.

In his new fund job Bataillon will lead European equities from London and will report to Aziz Nahas, chief investment officer at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. Also recruited into joining Lombard Odier Investment Managers with Bataillon will be Cyril Marquaire, senior analyst, and Arnaud Mallet, the team’s risk and operations manager.

Aziz commented on the situation and made reference to Marc well known and impressive track record of success and his proven team building skills. He believes that Marc and his team acting in concert with the current Lombard Odier skills and their strong risk management culture will be a winning competition. He thinks it will only serve to further strengthen their European hedge fund expertise. Marc’s expertise in managing long / short European equities was a key factor in his recruitment to this fund job in Switzerland.

As of today Lombard Odier has twenty three business units in seventeen countries worldwide. Its total assets are €114 billion under management.
