This global insurance giant fulfils the sophisticated insurance requirements of many of the worlds largest multinationals and investors. Currently they are looking to recruit an Underwriter of Property Programs to manage some of these clients complex underwriting assignments. This is an insurance job in Zurich and is based from their head quarters.
The Underwriter of Property Programs takes charge of the underwriting of a series of complex Swiss domiciled property programs for a portfolio of international clients. Should your application to this well paid Swiss insurance job be successful you will have a series of duties that make up the day to day aspects of this role.
You will undertake the initial assessment of any new business that is proposed and also handle the renewal of submissions. To do this it will be necessary to price and quote according to the risks to each program. To help you achieve this, the firm can offer its world renown actuarial professionals and risk engineers. They will ensure you have the right talent seconded to you to meet your overall objectives.
Besides the assessment and pricing of the risk you can expect to arrange the correct T & Cs with the client or partner organisation. Once this has been agreed the actual program becomes your responsibility to get it implemented and running.
To be considered for the Underwriter of Property Programs vacancy you should have considerable experience in the implementation of property insurance programs. You will also be extremely knowledgeable about underwriting at an international level. Besides your excellent analytical and maths abilities you will be an excellent communicator, negotiator able to fairly and professional represent a global business to some of its tier one customers. At a minimum would will be fluent in German and English, having further language skills can only be a bonus.
