Senior Financial Accountant - Accountancy Job in Switzerland

This Swiss Bank is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their back office Finance department.

Reporting directly to the CFO the Senior Financial Accountant undertakes a range of essential accounting duties. These revolve around the independent preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP / IFRS for the number of offshore branches. Additional duties for this well paid Zurich Accountancy job include the independent reporting to the parent company, setting up monitoring / analysis of the processes for various businesses and the renegotiation of existing contacts with internal stakeholders.

To be considered for the Senior Financial Accountant vacancy it is expected you will be able to display at least five years in the accounting (financial institute mandatory). This will be combined with a commercial education with training in accounting or degree. Coupled with these essentials you must have solid project management experience and strong analytical skills, with a structured and result-oriented way of working. You should also have fluent English and German.
