The Risk & Governance department of this international insurance and re-insurance firm is looking to recruit a Risk & Governance Analyst. This well paid Swiss insurance job is based in their Zurich office.
The Risk & Governance Analyst reports directly to the Head of Risk. It is the responsibility of the Risk & Governance Analyst to take charge of, lead it development and evolution and maintain the firms Regulatory and Risk documentation. As the successful applicant to this Swiss Risk job will be aware the success of the model approval process for Solvency II hinges upon the accuracy of these documents and processes.
The Risk & Governance Analyst will contribute to the firm successfully meeting the Solvency II criteria in two important ways.
Firstly they will act as a central support resource for all the implementation leaders at a global level.
Secondly they will assist the company’s preparedness for Pillar Three of the Solvency II project, i.e. the training and education of staff around capital and risk disclosure. The Risk & Governance Analyst will be the main resource for access to quality documentation and methodologies on how to help the process of setting up the internal models and to successfully report at the required standard.
Finally the Risk & Governance Analyst will assist the firm in its implementation of Pillar Two of Solvency II by contributing to the quality guidelines in the group policies and ensuring full compliance with the new regulatory environment.
To be considered for the Risk & Governance Analyst you should have a degree in business management, finance or law and have considerable experience in managing complex documents and processes in a financial organization, preferably an insurance firm. You will be a skilled communicator, motivator and have an analytical mind set. Individuals with extensive document and information management system process are sought. This Swiss insurance job requires significant travel, so you should be comfortable spending some time away from home. Finally you must be fluent in English and German.
