This Swiss bank and international wealth manager is looking to recruit a Portfolio Management Director to work from their Zurich office.
The bank has a strategic project portfolio covering all segments (Private Clients, Wealth Management, Corporate and Institutional Clients, Investment Bank and Global Asset Management in Switzerland). As Portfolio Management Director you will lead a small team of specialists and report directly to the Global Head of Strategy and Business Development. As one would expect with such a well paid Swiss banking job there are a diverse range of key responsibilities and duties. Amongst them you will be asked to:
- Undertake the strategic project portfolio definition: Drive the definition of a strategy-based, well balanced strategic initiative/project portfolio and its proper set-up.
- Be responsible for strategic planning: Drive initiative planning, ensure alignment of strategic project portfolio with operational (1-year) and strategic plan (5-year) and execute performance reviews together with Segments, Strategy Development, Controlling and Corporate Development.
- Take command of the portfolio communication strategy: Prepare the top executive communication of portfolio and specific strategic projects to the Group and external stakeholders together with Corporate Development, Communications and Investor Relations.
For serious consideration for the Portfolio Management Director vacancy the successful applicant will fit the following profile:
- Strong strategic, analytical competencies combined with finance & controlling knowledge (preferable) in the Financial Services industry.
- Sound understanding of strategic business goals and impact of projects/initiatives, ability to set priorities and take a practical implementation approach.
- Very good knowledge of project portfolio management instruments and strong project management skills and experience.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent German language skills and fluency in English
