This wealth management house and private bank is seeking a Portfolio Investment Manager to join their Geneva asset management department.
The Portfolio Investment Manager is tasked with proactively servicing High Net worth Individuals and Ultra High Net Worth clients on a real-time basis, by providing first class investment advice across a wide range of asset classes. The bank is able to offer these clients a fully integrated and comprehensive banking service, targeting the business and personal wealth of high net worth individuals.
Should you be chosen as the new Portfolio Investment Manager you can expect to be asked to deliver and execute sophisticated investment advice to UHNW and HNW individuals. This advice will cover a holistic approach to portfolio management and encompasses all major financial asset classes (Bonds, equities, forex, structured products, funds commodities etc). Coupled with this you will be responsible for designated clients and work closely with the Private Bankers, promoting the Bank’s products and services where appropriate. You will monitor client positions and provide support in way of investment recommendations and portfolio proposals for new and prospective clients in Geneva. Finally you will be asked to acquire new advisory clients and grow a portfolio of advisory clients.
The successful applicant to the Portfolio Investment Manager will be University education, plus ideally professional qualification i.e. CFA, CFPI, CIIA etc. They will have fluent English and French with other languages highly desirable (German especially).They will have proven experience of working as an Investment Advisor for HNW and UHNW clients. Coupled with that experience will be the technical expertise and ability to discuss a broad spectrum of asset classes in a credible manner. Finally they must have the ability to work in an entrepreneurial, delivery-focused, driven manner.
