This Zurich based specialist Fund Manager is looking to recruit a skilled Multi Class Research Analyst for Funds to join their growing Research team.
The firm is a independent Swiss asset manager, who have an extensive range of specialised funds which they market to institutional and private investors across the world. One of their core competencies, which they made their name in, is the provision of asset management across asymmetric products. This means bonds (both international and Swiss High Yield), balanced portfolio management – including especially convertible bonds (Global or individual regions specific) on either a defensive or opportunistic strategy, asymmetry blocks (CTA's) and equity strategies based upon geographical region and an absolute return basis.
The Fund Research Analyst: Looking at Multi Class Assets you will be required to use your analytical and conceptual thinking across a large range of responsibilities. The core duty is to monitor all trading strategies and risk models on a daily basis – thus ensuring that the firm is tweaking and developing both the overall trading and risk models to reflect optimum outcomes and market dictated conditions. This well paid fund job in Switzerland will also involve monitoring of the firms external CTA partners and internal managed futures managers. You will also be heavily involved in performance reviews of managers and will have a daily input upon the actual portfolio management.
To be considered for the position you should have at least two years experience as a Portfolio or Risk Analyst / Manager for an actively trading asset manager. It is expected you will hold a mathematical based degree and have extensive knowledge of MatLab or similar tools. You must speak fluent German and English and be keen to work for an industry innovator.
