The Zurich office of this international life insurance giant is looking to recruit a Life Market Risk Manager to join their expanding practice.
The Life Market Risk Manager undertakes and manages the market risk systems and processes for the firms Life business arm. A core component of this will be helping to develop and maintain a successful, fully Solvency II compliant risk framework for the Life market.
In this well paid Zurich insurance job you will report to the Global Market Risk director and form a key component of his leadership team. Besides the market risks you will need to ensure that all asset and liability management risks are managed and reported upon within the overall Life team. It will also fall into your remit to deal with issues and challenges within these areas as and when they arise. You will be expected to be able to offer recommendations and solutions to streamline and increase the effectiveness of all risk processes and profiles. Finally as Life Market Risk Manager you will need to undertake the various reporting duties.
For serious consideration for the Life Market Risk Manager you will need to be significantly experienced in Liability & Asset Management and be extremely knowledgeable and skills working with all aspects of Risk in the Life insurance marketplace. You will have at least five years prior experience working with investments and asset & liability management inside insurance or even, perhaps asset management or consulting. You will be expected to be able to display your considerable understanding of surplus and capital management, how to hedge, how to undertake the analysis of derivatives, portfolio management and the risk management of interest rates. Lastly you will speak fluent English.
