This international Fund of Hedge Fund Manager is looking to recruit a Fund of Hedge Fund Analyst to join their award winning Zurich based practice.
This organisation is a market leader in offering a line of advised portfolios made up from Hedge Funds from both Switzerland and the rest of the world. These portfolio are then resold to some of the largest institutional clients from the fund and banking sectors. To ensure their continued success maintaining an ongoing high level of performance is essential. There fore the firm analyses, screens Hedge Funds within and outside its portfolios on an ongoing basis to guarantee only the top performing Hedge funds constitute their portfolio (s). Essentially this and all it encompasses falls within the remit of the Analyst Team and will be the core duty of the new Fund of Hedge Fund Analyst.
Prior to including a fund within the portfolio both the manager and fund are put through an exhaustive due diligence process which examines the operational, quantitative and all the other aspects. The Fund of Hedge Fund Analyst is tasked with the analysis, monitoring and proposal of new hedge funds and forms an integrated part of the investment process for the management of multi-strategy hedge funds. Another area of this well paid Swiss fund job is getting involved with creation of overall investment strategy across the full range of portfolio management the firm involves itself in.
To be considered for the Fund of Hedge Fund Analyst vacancy you should have at least three years solid experience in the selection of funds & Hedge Funds, or at the very least a comprehensive track record in asset management in Hedge funds. Due to the strategic growth - the firm is especially interested in individuals with significant exposure to Asian markets and will be keen to see applications from individuals involved in fund analysis, buy / sell side analyst jobs or portfolio managers.
You should be capable of digesting and summarizing large quantities of quant data and qualitative research, as well as the ability to compose and edit fund documentation. Detail orientation and concise presentation of investment propositions are essential and will be required in interactions with the investment committee and clients.
Obviously this is a hugely competitive market, so the remuneration package is designed specifically to entice industry heavy hitters.
