This organization has created a global private Exchange that acts as a clearing network for institutions and Ultra High Net Worth individuals alike. The Exchange has been designed to revolutionize the management and trading of assets in wealth management industry. Essentially, the firm provides a comprehensive virtual bond and commodities market to prevent many of the asset identification issues that stop the successful completion of transactions. To achieve this goal they are required to recruit a skilled Exchange Officer to manage the transaction process.
The Exchange Officer is in charge of orchestrating the on-boarding process for membership. The Exchange Officer works with the prospective members and their bank officers to confirm that the prospective member does indeed have the asset or cash that they purport to own. Thus, the exchange officer acts as a third party liaison to facilitate these transactions and meet all the regulatory, compliance and legal process requirements of both counter-parties. Effectively they will be managing, co-coordinating and handling the process requirements of private placement transactions involving large blocks of bonds and commodities. As such the Exchange Officer must be familiar with Medium Term Notes, Letters of Credit, unstructured notes, Bank Guarantees, structured finance contracts, commodity trading, and most importantly Swift MT760s. Once an institution or individual is approved for membership by the exchange officer, it is the licensed Trust that actually executes the exchange to ensure a successful transaction. At present the firm is struggling to cope with the demand for its services. Business is being brought to the exchange by an extensive and experienced global intermediary network, which includes some of the leading players in the wealth management industry.
To be considered for the Exchange Officer vacancy you must be a banking operations professional with at least five years experience of private banking transactions management. You will be familiar with the trading of bonds and asset administration requirements of the private banking / wealth management industry. You will be comfortable dealing with both ultra high net worth individuals and banking institutions. Besides your fluent English you will also speak one (or more) of the following: Russian, French, Spanish, German and Italian as a native speaker. Technically adept you will be used to operating trading platforms and comfortable operating in an on-line environment. It is expected you will be a skilled Swift and Bloomberg operator who is quick to understand and use the latest on-line systems and technology.
