Compliance Officer - Banking Job in Switzerland

This Swiss private bank is looking to recruit a skilled Compliance Officer to joins its evolving Compliance practice.

The Compliance Officer is tasked with actively developing the compliance function and risk control across all the main banking business units. In this well paid Swiss banking job you will be asked to support the head of compliance for projects, legal issues and the management in the ongoing monitoring and assessment of the internal control system of the bank. One core area of focus will be ensuring heavyweight compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, the drafting of internal regulations and the supervision and control of the defined control processes. You can also expect to be asked to be involved many of the key tasks of the department such as writing reports and presenting them to various bodies of the Bank.

For serious consideration for the Compliance Officer vacancy you should already be working in banking compliance with at least two years solid experience. You will combine that with a higher economic or legal education (Uni, FH). You will have outstanding analytical skills and have a full knowledge of risk management in banking and compliance and banking law.
