This leading global provider of comprehensive services in Risk and insurance management, Human Capital Consulting and Re-Insurance is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to work out of their Lugano office.
The Business Development Manager is charged with growing and evolving the level of corporate insurance solutions business within the local region. To reach some aggressive targets you can expect, in this well paid Swiss insurance job, to find yourself:
- Self canvassing the sectors you have been given to specialise in
- Market monitoring and processing (local & international, SMEs, industrial customers)
- Project tendering
- Management of internal information
- Set an individual annual plan for new business
- Representative functions
To be considered for the Business Development Manager vacancy you should be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent insurance training qualification and meet the local Swiss registration requirements - as an independent insurance intermediary. As well as that you will have at least two years of similar experience in a similar position. Given the international nature of the client base you will need excellent English and German. You should be able to point to an impressive track record of sales success and have a good existing network in Switzerland you can exploit. You will be a good communicator, have a winning, confident manner and impress with your excellent knowledge of insurance, your above-average commitment and your high service orientation.
The Business Development Manager position has an industry leading basic salary and of course an attractive bonus based upon your performance against target(s).
