This global provider of high end banking & investment software is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced BDM. Covering a portfolio of clients from the French speaking European market this job is based from their central Zurich office.
The BDM Wealth Management Software is primarily tasked with growing a portfolio of clients from an existing base and also to increase the up take of new business. The target market is banks, wealth management firms, family offices, fund managers and asset management practices. Core targets will be based upon a revenue target and a number of key customer satisfaction goals. The offering consists of a bundle of software and services, whose make up will be familiar to those who have sold a “solution based” offering in the past.
Whilst the offering has garnered many awards and is positioned to take a leadership position in its respective market, success in this well paid Zurich job will only be gained by a dynamic and skilled sales campaign, lead by an individual capable of building new markets and revenue streams. Internally the BDM Wealth Management Software will need to take ownership of the relationships with in sales, pres sales and implementation / development technical teams. Responsibilities go beyond merely making the sale and as such this Swiss sales job requires a true relationship creator and owner. As this is a business critical appointment, which has a bearing on the strategic direction of the firm the BDM has a responsibility to keep management in the loop – compiling sales figures and reports is essential.
The BDM Wealth Management Software vacancy requires a skilled business developer with at least five years prior experience in a similar role for financial services software provider. You will need a strong understanding of the wealth management industry in general and the specific requirements of the French speaking sector. You will require fluent English and French.
